Perhaps I got a bad batch? I really don't know, I generally enjoy Magic Hat's concoctions, but this one really didn't to it for me. I picked up a Feast of Fools sampler pack last night, and was anxious to try the Roxy Rolles. Reading you review, I feel like I tried a completely different beer. I tasted very little spices, and the dominant flavor was raw and earthy, almost like stuffing a handful of grass into your mouth. I struggled to finish it, and had no desire to open up another one at the time. Chances are, I'll give it another try just to see if I have the same reaction next time, but for now I'm not a fan.
